48-Port 10/100BASE-TX module with RJ-45 connectors
The RJ-45 48-port 10/100 media module has 48 RJ-45 connectors. Each connector supports both Ethernet (Base10) and Fast Ethernet (Base100) connections. It is a double height module, occupying two chassis slots.

48-Port 10/100BASE-TX module with RJ-21 Telco connectors
The Telco 48-port 10/100 media module has four CAT-5 telco connectors, commonly referred to as RJ71. Each telco connector supports 12 Ethernet or Fast Ethernet connections. It is a single height module, occupying a single chassis slot.
